Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune District for an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer. The engineer will design, review, and optimize mechanical and electrical systems for building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Daily tasks include preparing and updating CAD drawings, performing load calculations, equipment selection, and coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams. The role involves participating in project planning, supporting site inspections, resolving design-related queries, and assisting in R&D to improve system performance and energy efficiency. The engineer will also support project documentation, reporting, and communication with clients and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design for building services and system components.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying engineering drawings and layouts.
Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and basic cost awareness.
Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) abilities to evaluate new technologies and improve efficiency and performance of MEP systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety standards, and industry practices in MEP design and installation.
Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordination with internal teams, clients, and site personnel.
Experience with building projects or MEP consultancy work is an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Pune District and visit project locations as required.
