Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fire and Safety role based in Delhi. The role involves monitoring and maintaining fire protection and safety systems across the facility, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant fire and safety regulations. Day-to-day tasks include identifying potential fire hazards, updating safety procedures, coordinating fire drills, and supporting emergency preparedness plans. The position requires close collaboration with operations and maintenance teams to ensure that fire suppression equipment is functional and that life safety measures are implemented and followed. The role also includes training staff on fire safety protocols and maintaining accurate records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Fire Prevention and Fire Safety practices, including hazard identification and risk mitigation.
Experience with Fire Protection systems and Fire Suppression Systems, including inspection, testing, and basic troubleshooting.
Understanding of Life Safety standards and emergency response procedures in industrial or commercial settings.
Relevant certification or diploma in fire and safety, occupational safety, or a related discipline.
Familiarity with local and national fire codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to conduct safety trainings, prepare reports, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Prior experience in a manufacturing, food processing, or similar environment is an advantage.
