Role Description The Wedding Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing wedding themes, décor, and overall event aesthetics in line with client preferences and budgets. Day-to-day work includes meeting clients to understand their vision, creating mood boards and design proposals, coordinating with vendors for décor, lighting, florals, and props, and supervising on-site setup to ensure quality and consistency. The role involves collaborating with planners, production teams, and external partners to maintain timelines, manage materials, and troubleshoot design-related issues during events. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular presence at the office, event venues, and vendor locations.
Qualifications
Strong skills in wedding décor design, event styling, and theme conceptualization, with the ability to translate client ideas into cohesive visual experiences.
Experience in vendor coordination, budgeting for décor elements, and materials sourcing for florals, props, furniture, and installations.
Proficiency in basic design tools (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint) and familiarity with mood boards, layout sketches, and visual presentation of concepts.
Excellent client communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a service-focused and professional approach.
Ability to work on-site at event locations, manage tight timelines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
Previous experience in wedding planning, event design, interior décor, or related creative fields is highly beneficial.
Relevant diploma or degree in Event Management, Design, Hospitality, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
Comfort with weekend and evening work during event periods and a willingness to travel within and around Bengaluru as needed.
