Role Overview We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Design Intern to support the design and user experience of LB Elite Travels' digital platforms, websites, booking workflows, and internal systems. The role focuses on crafting intuitive, visually engaging, and user-friendly interfaces across all customer-facing and internal tools. This internship is ideal for individuals who want hands-on exposure to real-time projects while building a strong foundation in UI/UX design within the travel industry.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Learn and apply UI/UX design principles, processes, and best practices
2. Assist in creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for websites and apps
3. Support user research activities such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing
4. Design and iterate on user flows, journey maps, and information architecture
5. Collaborate on visual design elements including layouts, typography, colour schemes, and icons
6. Validate website features such as search, booking flow, enquiry forms, and payment pages from a usability standpoint
7. Document design decisions, style guides, and design system components
8. Collaborate with developers, QA, and other design team members
9. Participate in continuous learning related to design tools, frameworks, and UX standards
Skills & Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree (or pursuing) in Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2. Basic understanding of UI/UX design concepts and principles
3. Knowledge of the design process: research, wireframing, prototyping, and testing
4. Familiarity with: Wireframing and mockup creation, User flow and journey mapping, Usability and accessibility principles
5. Knowledge of design documentation and style guide creation
6. Exposure to tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch is a plus
7. Basic understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
8. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or basic front-end concepts is an added advantage
9. Exposure to prototyping and collaboration tools such as InVision, Zeplin, Miro is a plus
