About AdxReel
AdxReel is an AI-powered AdTech, social media, AR commerce, creator economy and rewards platform designed to connect users, creators, sellers, advertisers and brands.
We are looking for a Software QA & UX Tester who can take ownership of testing our applications and help us deliver a stable, reliable and user-friendly product.
This role is not limited to finding software bugs. You will be expected to understand how a real user experiences the application, identify usability problems, test different user journeys, validate content and functionality, and work closely with our development team to improve the overall product experience.
Role: Software QA & UX Tester
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical tester who can test:
Android mobile applications
Web applications
Backend functionality
APIs
User journeys and workflows
Content and media
UI/UX and usability
Performance and stability
Different devices and screen sizes
Login, registration and account flows
Advertising and reward functionality
Creator, seller and user features
End-to-end application experiences
The ideal candidate should think like both a QA Engineer and a real end user.
Key Responsibilities1. Mobile Application Testing
Test AdxReel Android applications across different devices and screen sizes.
Test installation, registration, login, logout and account management.
Test navigation, buttons, forms, menus and interactive elements.
Test video/media playback and related functionality.
Test notifications, permissions and device-specific behavior.
Identify crashes, freezes, UI issues and unexpected behavior.
Perform regression testing after every major application update.
Test application performance and responsiveness.
2. Web Application Testing
Test web applications across major browsers.
Verify responsive behavior on desktop, tablet and mobile screens.
Test different user flows from beginning to end.
Identify functional, visual and usability issues.
Verify that frontend functionality correctly communicates with backend services.
3. Backend & API Testing
Test backend functionality and API responses.
Verify that data submitted from the application is correctly processed and stored.
Test authentication, user accounts, permissions and business logic.
Validate API responses, error handling and edge cases.
Identify frontend/backend integration issues.
Work with developers to reproduce and resolve backend-related bugs.
4. Content & Media Testing
Test videos, images, advertisements and other media content.
Verify that content loads correctly and displays properly.
Check video playback, loading, buffering and completion behavior.
Test different media formats and content scenarios.
Identify incorrect, missing, duplicated or broken content.
Verify that advertisements and associated content behave correctly.
5. Functional Testing
Perform testing across the complete application, including:
User registration and login
User profiles
Social/video features
Content upload and viewing
Advertising
AI/chat features
Rewards
Wallet-related functionality
Creator features
Seller features
Notifications
Search
Sharing
Payments or transaction-related workflows
Any new features released by the development team
6. End-to-End User Journey Testing
The tester must think beyond individual features.
For example:
User sees content → watches advertisement → interacts with advertisement → opens AI chat → completes required action → receives reward → checks wallet/history.
You should test the entire journey and identify where the user could face confusion, failure or friction.
7. UX & Usability Testing
This is an important part of the role.
You will evaluate the application from a real user's perspective and identify:
Confusing navigation
Poor user flows
Unclear buttons or actions
Difficult onboarding
Unnecessary steps
Poor information hierarchy
Inconsistent UI
Poor mobile experience
Slow or frustrating interactions
User journey problems
Accessibility/usability issues
You should be able to explain:
“What will the user experience at this step, and how can we make it better?”
You may also provide suggestions for improving the user experience and collaborate with the UI/UX and development teams.
8. Test Case & Documentation
Create detailed test cases and test scenarios.
Prepare regression test checklists.
Document bugs clearly with:
Bug title
Steps to reproduce
Expected result
Actual result
Device/browser/environment
Screenshots or screen recordings
Severity and priority
Maintain proper records of tested features.
Verify fixes provided by developers.
9. Bug Reporting & Tracking
Identify and report functional and technical issues.
Prioritize bugs based on severity and user impact.
Reproduce reported issues before assigning them to developers.
Retest bugs after fixes.
Confirm that fixes do not introduce new problems.
Communicate clearly with developers and product teams.
10. Different Device & Environment Testing
Test applications under different conditions, including:
Different Android versions
Different screen sizes
Different mobile devices
Different network conditions
Slow internet
Wi-Fi/mobile data
Low battery situations
Different browsers
Different application versions
What We Expect From You
We are looking for someone who does not simply follow a checklist.
You should be able to ask:
What happens if the user does something unexpected?
What happens if the internet becomes slow?
What happens if the user presses the button multiple times?
What happens if the user leaves the application and comes back?
Is this feature actually easy for a normal user to understand?
Is the content displayed correctly?
Does the complete user journey work?
Can we make this experience simpler?
