Role Description The Social Media Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of social media activities across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing content calendars, creating and coordinating posts, monitoring engagement, responding to comments and messages, and maintaining a consistent brand voice. The role also involves collaborating with the creative and strategy teams, analyzing performance metrics, and adjusting campaigns to improve reach and conversions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, requiring regular coordination with internal teams and clients to align social media efforts with broader marketing objectives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills for managing and growing brand presence across platforms.
Candidates should possess solid Content Strategy and Writing skills to plan, craft, and adapt content for diverse audiences and channels.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for engaging audiences, collaborating with team members, and presenting campaign results.
Experience with social media analytics tools, scheduling platforms, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud) is beneficial.
A background in marketing, communications, or a related field, along with prior experience managing social media for brands or agencies, is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, manage multiple projects, and stay updated on social media trends and best practices is essential.
