Role Description The Placement Officer – EdTech is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. The role involves coordinating campus placement activities, building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, and identifying suitable opportunities for learners. The Placement Officer will conduct career counseling sessions, guide learners on resume building and interview preparation, and track placement outcomes. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with training teams to align course outcomes with industry requirements, organizing placement drives and events, and maintaining accurate student and employer databases. The role also involves representing SVR EdTech in academic and corporate forums to strengthen its placement ecosystem.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in campus placement processes and employer relationship management.
Excellent communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
Experience in career counseling, mentoring, and guiding learners on career pathways.
Background in training or education, with the ability to connect learning outcomes to industry needs.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
Knowledge of the edtech sector and awareness of current hiring trends in technology and finance domains.
Proficiency in using digital tools, placement management systems, and office productivity software.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
