Role Description The Asst. Manager Production for the cosmetic industry at AGOrganica oversees daily production operations to ensure output meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This full-time, on-site role, based in Noida, includes planning and scheduling production, coordinating with R&D and quality teams, and aligning resources to meet order deadlines. The role involves supervising production staff, monitoring equipment performance, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal SOPs. The Asst. Manager Production also tracks production metrics, manages documentation, supports audits, and collaborates with procurement and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials and smooth dispatch of finished goods.
Qualifications
Strong production management skills, including planning, scheduling, and supervising manufacturing operations in the cosmetic or personal care industry.
Knowledge of cosmetic formulations, manufacturing processes, and familiarity with natural ingredients, essential oils, and related raw materials.
Experience implementing quality, safety, and regulatory standards, with the ability to work closely with QA/QC and R&D teams.
Proficiency in using production-related documentation, basic ERP or inventory systems, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
Effective leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to train staff and resolve operational issues.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on process optimization, cost control, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, or a related field; relevant experience in cosmetic manufacturing is highly preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
