We're looking for a people-first leader with strong finance and reconciliations experience to drive performance, controls and continuous improvement across a critical operational function.
As part of the Transaction Processing and Control team you will manage a team of 12 in the Reconciliations Team managing everything from workflow and service delivery, champion risk and compliance excellence, and build a culture of accountability, engagement and growth.
What you'll do
Lead and develop a team of reconciliation specialists in a fast-paced banking environment, driving service excellence and operational performance,
Continuous improvement while fostering a high-performing, engaged culture.
Represent team/department on project working groups
Foster a risk management culture in team identifying incidents, reporting and rectifying in a prompt and efficient manner
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Reconciliations, Treasury Operations / Payments in a supervisory role
Proven experience coaching and mentoring mid to large team sizes
Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and trends
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements
Build strong, collaborative relationships across all levels of the organisation, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture
Thrive in ambiguous environments, using creativity and innovative thinking to solve complex challenges
