Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Engineer role based in Tiruvallur. The Quality Assurance Engineer will plan, design, and execute test cases to validate product and software quality, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements. Daily responsibilities include performing manual testing, documenting test results, logging defects, and collaborating with development and production teams to resolve issues. The role involves preparing test reports, contributing to quality audits, and recommending process improvements to enhance reliability and performance. The Quality Assurance Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to support releases, maintain documentation, and uphold best practices in quality assurance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance skills, including an understanding of quality standards, processes, and documentation.
Candidates should possess Test Execution and Test Cases skills, with the ability to design, prioritize, and run test scenarios effectively.
Candidates should possess Manual Testing and Software Testing skills, including defect identification, reporting, and validation.
Working knowledge of testing tools, version control, and issue-tracking systems is beneficial.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities are required.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams are essential.
Relevant technical degree or diploma in engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or software quality environment in Tiruvallur or nearby regions is an advantage.
