Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Specialist – Python Full Stack to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, Django, React, Next.js, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and modern full-stack development practices.
The candidate will be responsible for developing robust backend services, building responsive frontend applications, integrating frontend and backend systems, and ensuring application performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and platforms.
Develop high-performance backend components using Python and Django.
Design and implement RESTful and SOAP web services/APIs.
Develop frontend applications using React and Next.js.
Work with React functional components, Hooks, Context API, and modern React development patterns.
Build SSR and SSG applications using Next.js.
Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services.
Develop scalable and maintainable application architecture.
Optimize application performance across frontend and backend layers.
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Implement unit testing and maintain code coverage standards.
Follow coding standards, design principles, and software development best practices.
Work with Git and other version-control tools.
Develop shell scripts and work comfortably in a Unix/Linux environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, debugging, and production support.
Mandatory Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Python.
Strong expertise in Django.
Strong experience with React.
Good experience with Next.js.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with REST APIs and Web Services.
Understanding of GraphQL.
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Strong understanding of React:
Functional Components
Hooks such as useState and useEffect
Context API
Component lifecycle
Experience with Next.js SSR and SSG.
Knowledge of Next.js routing, data fetching, and API routes.
Experience with Jest/unit testing for React applications.
Experience using Axios for API calls and asynchronous operations.
Experience with Git/version control.
Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
Experience with application performance optimization.
Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
Experience with Shell scripting.
Strong understanding of web application development and architecture.
Good-to-Have Skills
Flask.
Kafka / Redis or other message-broker technologies.
GCP.
Tailwind CSS.
Material UI.
Styled Components.
CI/CD and Jenkins.
Linux-based UI application deployment.
Educational Qualifications
BE / ME / BTech / MTech / BSc / MSc or equivalent technical qualification.
Relevant technical certifications are an advantage.
Key Requirements
Strong full-stack development experience with Python + Django + React + Next.js.
Strong architecture and design capabilities.
Good understanding of scalable and high-performance web applications.
Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in the 3 PM – 12 AM IST shift.
