Role Description
The Retention Marketing Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for developing and executing retention and lifecycle marketing strategies to increase customer loyalty, repeat usage, and subscription renewals across digital platforms. Day-to-day activities include analyzing customer data and behavior, designing segmented campaigns, optimizing communication journeys (email, SMS, app notifications, and other channels), and coordinating with product, content, and customer support teams to improve user experience. The Retention Marketing Manager will monitor performance metrics, conduct A/B tests, and refine strategies based on insights to maximize customer lifetime value. The role also involves collaborating with senior leadership to plan retention goals, manage campaign calendars, and ensure brand consistency in all customer touchpoints.Qualifications:Candidates should possess strong retention and lifecycle marketing skills, including customer segmentation, campaign planning, and loyalty program management.
Candidates should possess data and analytics skills, such as experience with CRM tools, marketing automation platforms, A/B testing, and interpreting performance metrics.
Candidates should possess digital communication skills, including experience in email marketing, SMS and push notification campaigns, and optimizing multi-channel customer journeys.
Candidates should possess strategic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design customer-centric initiatives and translate insights into actionable marketing plans.
Candidates should possess collaboration and project management skills, including the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage timelines for multiple campaigns.
Relevant experience in retention or CRM marketing within e-commerce, digital services, or subscription-based businesses is highly beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is preferred, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
An interest in astrology, spirituality, or wellness domains, and familiarity with the Indian digital consumer landscape, will be an added advantage.
