About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Company Description Codeyoung offers interactive coding courses for learners aged 5 to 17, with a strong emphasis on hands-on, practical learning. The curriculum is designed around clear, distinct learning goals that help students build confidence and real-world skills in technology. Sessions are highly engaging and student-centric, encouraging curiosity, participation, and creative problem solving rather than traditional lecture-based teaching. Team members at Codeyoung contribute to a dynamic online learning environment where young learners are supported to explore, experiment, and grow.

Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering live online sessions, guiding learners through structured public speaking exercises, and providing constructive, age-appropriate feedback on presentations and speeches. The mentor will design engaging activities that build skills in storytelling, articulation, voice modulation, and audience engagement. Additional responsibilities include monitoring learner progress, collaborating with the academic team to refine content, maintaining detailed records of sessions, and communicating regularly with internal stakeholders on learner outcomes and needs.
