Electrical Engineer - Analyst + SQL

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer – Analyst + SQL role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The role involves analyzing electrical systems and power distribution networks, reviewing technical drawings, and supporting electrical design improvements for industrial and commercial applications. The Electrical Engineer will use SQL and related data tools to extract, analyze, and visualize operational and performance data from electrical systems, helping to identify trends, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing reports and dashboards, supporting troubleshooting activities, and contributing to compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role also requires clear documentation of findings, participation in project planning, and continuous learning to stay current with electrical engineering and data analysis best practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including practical understanding of Electricity and core engineering principles.
Ability to design and review electrical systems, with hands-on experience in Electrical Design and related tools.
Knowledge of Power Distribution and Power Systems, including load analysis, system protection, and reliability considerations.
Proficiency in SQL for data querying, reporting, and basic analytics; familiarity with databases and data visualization tools is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Experience working with industrial or commercial electrical installations, and awareness of relevant safety and regulatory standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams, communicate technical information clearly, and work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area.
