Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
WE ARE HIRING: BRIDGE / STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (2+ YEARS EXP.)
(Major Bridges • Minor Bridges • Cross Drainage (CD) Works • GAD Approvals)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DOMAIN SCOPE:
• Structural modeling, analysis & detailing for PSC / RCC / Steel Girder bridges and substructures (Piers, Abutments, Foundations).
• Preparation and checking of General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) per IRC / MoRTH norms and documentation for Gujarat R&B / Panchayat sanctions.
• Design, estimation & drawing preparation for RCC Box Culverts (single / multi-cell), Hume Pipe Culverts (NP3 / NP4), and Slab Drains.
• Hydraulic calculations, HFL, design discharge (Q), linear waterway determination (Lacey's formula), and scour depth verification.
• Preparation of detailed itemized estimates, Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), and Rate Analysis as per Gujarat R&B / MoRTH SOR.
ELIGIBILITY & CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience: 2+ Years of relevant experience in Bridge & Cross Drainage design / detailing.
• Authority Liaison: Knowledge of GAD drafting and approval procedures for Gujarat R&B / Panchayat / NH projects.
• Codes & Standards: Familiarity with IRC:5, IRC:6, IRC:21/112, IRC:78, IRC:83, IRC:SP:13 & MoRTH guidelines.
• Software Tools: Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro / MIDAS Civil, and MS Excel engineering calculations.
• Posting Location: Ahmedabad (Head Office) with periodic site visits across Gujarat.
