Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Analog Layout Engineer role based in Bengaluru South. The Analog Layout Engineer will design and implement analog and mixed-signal circuit layouts, ensuring compliance with design rules, performance targets, and reliability requirements. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with circuit design engineers, translating schematics into optimized layout, performing layout-versus-schematic (LVS) and design rule checks (DRC), and resolving physical verification issues. The role involves iterative optimization for area, matching, noise, and parasitic performance, as well as documentation of layout decisions and best practices. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to support tape-out, debug post-layout issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of layout methodologies and flows.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Layout Design for analog and mixed-signal blocks, including floorplanning and device matching.
Solid understanding of Circuit Design, including Analog and Analog Circuits concepts such as biasing, matching, and noise.
Experience with Physical Verification, including DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction in standard industry tools.
Proficiency with major EDA tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso or similar) and familiarity with foundry design rule manuals.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, VLSI, or a related field.
Ability to interpret schematics, collaborate effectively with design teams, and communicate technical details clearly.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in advanced process nodes and tape-out cycles is a plus.
