Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for overseeing all core HR functions and supporting a positive, compliant workplace. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee lifecycle documentation. The role involves developing and implementing HR policies, overseeing performance management processes, handling employee relations and grievance resolution, and supporting learning and development initiatives. The HR Manager will collaborate closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, manage payroll coordination and benefits administration, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards. The position also requires maintaining HR metrics, driving engagement initiatives, and promoting a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong skills in talent acquisition, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning.
Experience in HR policy development, performance management, and employee relations.
Proficiency in HR operations including payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR documentation.
Knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices in manufacturing or agriculture-related industries.
Ability to design and support training, development, and employee engagement programs.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR role, preferably in industrial, agribusiness, or allied sectors.
Comfort working on-site in Surat, with the ability to collaborate across functions and at multiple
