Role Description
The Interior: Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This position is responsible for overseeing interior works at project sites, ensuring that designs are executed accurately, safely, and in line with quality standards and timelines. Daily activities include coordinating with architects, interior designers, contractors, and vendors; supervising installation of finishes, fixtures, and furniture; and monitoring site progress against project plans. The role involves conducting inspections, resolving on-site technical issues, verifying material specifications, and maintaining detailed site documentation and reports. The Interior: Site Engineer also supports project managers by providing regular updates, managing on-site resources, and helping ensure compliance with relevant codes and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong on-site supervision and coordination skills, with the ability to manage day-to-day site activities effectively.
Clear and professional communication skills for working with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients.
Experience in quality control, including inspection of workmanship and materials, and adherence to design and safety standards.
Knowledge of structural engineering principles and their application to interior works and site execution.
Background in civil engineering or related discipline, with the ability to interpret drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in basic site documentation, MS Office, and familiarity with CAD or similar design tools is an advantage.
Ability to work on multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing site conditions.
Prior experience in interior fit-out, residential or commercial projects in a consulting or contracting environment is beneficial.
