Job Description
Position Summary
ISI Analytics is seeking a Principal Software Architect & Technical Engineering Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership across our SaaS application portfolio. This individual will play a critical role in modernizing core capabilities from our Classic application into ISI Analytics, our modern application interface, while helping shape the future architecture of the platform.
The ideal candidate has strong experience designing, building, and delivering scalable cloud-based
applications using C#/.NET, React, REST APIs, relational databases, Azure services, Kubernetes, and
modern SaaS architecture patterns. This person should bring an architect mindset, a strong coding
background, and the ability to translate business and product needs into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role. The successful candidate must be comfortable operating end-to-end: understanding requirements, designing architecture, writing or reviewing code, guiding developers, supporting releases, troubleshooting production issues, and helping ISI build toward future enhancements, integrations, and AI-powered capabilities.

● ISI Analytics provides SaaS-based call reporting, call analytics, insights, dashboards, and real-time KPIs for customers leveraging enterprise calling platforms.
● Current customer environments include Cisco UCM, Avaya, Microsoft Teams, Webex Calling, and
related Unified Communication platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Product Modernization & Platform Architecture
● Lead the migration of feature capabilities from ISI Classic into ISI Analytics while improving usability, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
● Define and evolve architecture across front-end, back-end, data processing, integration,
authentication, reporting, and real-time analytics components.
● Create technical designs that support future product expansion, new integrations, performance
improvements, and AI-enabled insights.
● Ensure the application architecture supports secure, scalable, Azure-hosted SaaS delivery.
Hands-On
Software Development
● Contribute directly to development efforts across React front-end components, C#/.NET services, REST APIs, GraphQL where needed, database queries, and cloud-hosted services.
● Build, optimize, and review APIs and services that support call reporting, analytics, dashboards, KPIs, and communications insights.
● Improve existing code for performance, maintainability, security, observability, and reliability.
● Support product integrations across Cisco, Microsoft Teams, Webex Calling, Genesys Contact
Center, Webex Contact Center, call recording platforms, and future communications ecosystems.
● Partner with product and business stakeholders to convert customer needs into technical designs and working software.
Cloud, Infrastructure & DevOps
● Provide technical oversight for Azure-hosted SaaS infrastructure, including AKS, App Services, Azure Functions, Event Hubs, SignalR, App Gateway WAF, Azure Firewall, and related services.
● Support containerized and Kubernetes-based deployment patterns.
● Collaborate on CI/CD, release management, monitoring, environment management, and production support.
● Design systems for reliability, security, observability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
● Improve release predictability, staging and production discipline, and technical transparency.
Technical Leadership
● Serve as a senior technical leader and trusted advisor across engineering, product, support,
implementation, and executive leadership.
● Guide internal engineers and external development partners on architecture, coding standards,
design patterns, and technical best practices.
● Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and help establish engineering practices for quality,
testing, performance, and maintainability.
● Act as a technical escalation point for complex application, integration, infrastructure, and production issues.
● Partner closely with ISI leadership to ensure engineering execution aligns with business priorities,
customer commitments, and long-term product strategy.
Required Qualifications
● 7+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS, cloud-hosted applications, analytics platforms, communications platforms, or enterprise software.
● Strong hands-on development experience with C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core, and modern back-end
application design.
● Experience building and maintaining REST APIs and service-based or microservices-oriented
architectures.
● Front-end experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar modern web technologies.
● Strong relational database experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including query
optimization and schema design.
● Experience designing and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure.
● Working knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, cloud deployment patterns, and DevOps practices.
● Experience with authentication, authorization, and identity management concepts such as
FusionAuth, Entra ID, SSO, OAuth, or related IAM platforms.
● Ability to work across both legacy and modern technology stacks.
● Strong communication skills with executives, product leaders, developers, support teams,
implementation teams, and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience modernizing legacy applications into cloud-native or SaaS-based platforms.
● Experience with legacy technologies such as C++, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, jQuery, Windows Servers, and IIS.
● Experience with real-time data processing, event-driven architecture, or high-volume analytics
systems.
● Experience with telecom, UCaaS, CCaaS, call reporting, queue analytics, Cisco, Microsoft Teams,
Webex Calling, Genesys, or contact center platforms.
● Experience designing dashboards, reporting systems, analytics workflows, KPI tools, or business
intelligence applications.
● Experience incorporating AI, machine learning, or LLM-based capabilities into customer-facing
software.
● Experience working with distributed teams or outsourced development partners.
