Your Impact
As a Backend Node.js Developer, you will play a key role in building and scaling high-performance backend systems that power mission-critical applications. You will design robust APIs, develop microservices, and contribute to architecture decisions that enhance system reliability, scalability, and security. What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
Build and enhance RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
Collaborate with product, frontend, and cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability for high-traffic environments.
Implement secure coding practices and ensure data protection standards are met.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root-cause analysis.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing across the team.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the technology stack.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience building backend applications with Node.js.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern backend development practices.
Experience designing and developing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Experience with messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
Proficiency with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with Aerospike or similar high-performance databases.
Experience with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.
Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic.
Experience building highly scalable, high-availability systems in production environments.
Knowledge of performance tuning and system optimization techniques.
