Role Description
The Autocad Designer role at Hydrangea Event is a full-time, on-site position based in Raipur. The Autocad Designer will create detailed architectural and construction drawings for event layouts, stages, installations, and spatial arrangements using AutoCAD and related design tools. Typical responsibilities include developing 2D and 3D plans, preparing technical drawings with accurate measurements, and coordinating space planning to optimize guest flow, safety, and aesthetics. The role involves working closely with event planners, production teams, and vendors to refine designs, incorporate feedback, and adjust plans according to site conditions and client requirements. The Autocad Designer will also support documentation, maintain drawing standards, and ensure all designs comply with relevant safety and venue guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings for event spaces, stages, and installations.
Proficiency in Drawing and Space Planning to create functional, safe, and visually appealing layouts.
Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
2 yrs of experience with AutoCAD (and preferably other design tools such as SketchUp or similar software).
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, site measurements, and venue plans.
Attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects under deadlines.
Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in event design, exhibition booths, or related spatial design work is an advantage.
