Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks and solutions for web and enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
Perform manual, exploratory, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing as required.
Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.
Develop and maintain automated test suites to improve test coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test strategies.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, UX/UI teams, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
Contribute to test strategy, QA processes, quality metrics, and continuous process improvements.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback related to testability, quality, and automation.
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster releases.
Validate web applications, APIs, integrations, and enterprise application workflows.
Support performance, security, and other non-functional testing activities when required.
Investigate test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and work with development teams to resolve quality issues.
Maintain clear test documentation, automation reports, defect reports, and QA metrics.
Help establish scalable QA practices and tooling to deliver reliable, high-performance, and secure digital solutions.
Required Qualifications
Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing with hands-on experience in test planning and strategy.
Practical experience in manual and automation testing.
Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Experience designing, writing, and executing test cases and test scenarios.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with Git/version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum or XP methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred / Good to Have
Experience with web technologies and modern web applications.
Hands-on experience with API testing.
Knowledge of performance testing and security testing concepts.
Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
Familiarity with QA reporting, test metrics, and continuous quality improvement.
