Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of Alternate Investment Funds (AIFs), ensuring efficient fund operations, investor servicing, regulatory compliance, Demat account management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role is suitable for fresh graduates with a strong interest in financial markets as well as candidates with relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Support fund operations, including capital calls, drawdowns, distributions, and investment transactions.
• Assist in investor onboarding, KYC/AML processes, and maintenance of investor records.
• Assist in opening, maintaining, and managing Demat accounts for investors and funds, ensuring accurate documentation and coordination with Depository Participants (DPs).
• Support securities settlement, corporate actions, and Demat-related reconciliations.
• Assist in fund accounting, reconciliations, NAV review, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI AIF Regulations and support regulatory filings.
• Maintain operational records, documentation, MIS reports, and Demat account records.
• Coordinate with custodians, registrars, depositories, banks, auditors, and other service providers for smooth operational processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support process enhancement initiatives. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in AIF operations, fund administration, investment operations, financial services, or capital markets will be preferred.
Key Skills
• Basic understanding of financial markets, investment products, and AIFs.
• Knowledge of SEBI AIF Regulations and KYC/AML processes is preferred.
• Understanding of Demat account operations, NSDL/CDSL processes, and securities settlement is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
