Role Description The Analyst will work on-site in the Pune District in a full-time capacity, supporting data-driven decision-making across dairy and agro operations. Responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and organizing operational, financial, and production data, and preparing regular reports and dashboards for management. The role involves analyzing trends in milk yield, procurement costs, quality metrics, and supply chain performance to identify efficiencies and potential risks. The Analyst will collaborate with farming, procurement, finance, and operations teams to translate data insights into practical recommendations. Additional tasks include supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, monitoring key performance indicators, and contributing to process improvement initiatives and compliance-related documentation.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with data analysis, reporting, and interpretation of trends.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., MS Excel, basic databases, or BI tools) and comfort working with large datasets.
Solid understanding of business operations, preferably in agriculture, dairy, food processing, or manufacturing environments.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Dairy Technology, Economics, Statistics, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Pune District and engage directly with farming and operational teams.
Familiarity with basic financial concepts (cost analysis, margins, budget monitoring) and interest in process improvement and efficiency.
