Role Description This full-time, on-site Product Development Engineer role is based in Shahapur. The role involves designing and developing ventilation products, components, and systems that meet performance, safety, and efficiency standards. The Product Development Engineer will collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and sales teams to translate customer and market requirements into feasible engineering solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical analyses, preparing design calculations and drawings, prototyping and testing products, and supporting product certification and compliance activities. The role also requires continuous improvement of existing products, documentation of engineering work, and contribution to innovation initiatives aligned with Kruger’s research and development goals.
Qualifications
Strong Mechanical Engineering and Product Development skills, with the ability to translate requirements into practical designs.
Proficiency in Product Design and Research and Development (R&D), including concept generation, prototyping, and testing.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills for performance calculations, data interpretation, and problem-solving in technical contexts.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Experience in HVAC, ventilation, or related industrial product engineering is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and certification processes (e.g., AMCA or equivalent) is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Shahapur, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
Proficiency with CAD tools and engineering software commonly used for mechanical design and analysis.
