Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role located in the Pune Division. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs, drawings, and calculations for infrastructure and land development projects. Day-to-day tasks include site assessments, planning layouts, coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, and ensuring compliance with local codes, standards, and regulations. The role involves designing stormwater management systems, preparing technical reports, supporting permitting activities, and responding to design-related queries during construction. The Civil Engineer will also participate in project scheduling, cost estimation, and quality control to help deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering fundamentals, including structural and infrastructure systems.
Experience working as Civil Engineers on planning, layout development, and coordination of civil projects.
Knowledge of Planning practices for land development, transportation, and utility projects.
Experience with Stormwater Management design, hydrology, and drainage systems.
Proficiency with relevant civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar design tools).
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site.
Knowledge of local codes and standards applicable to civil infrastructure in the Pune Division; professional certification or licensure is an advantage.
