Autocad Draftsman for commercial and residential interior design

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Autocad Draftsman role based in Hyderabad, focused on commercial and residential interior design projects. The Autocad Draftsman will prepare detailed interior drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and custom furniture layouts using AutoCAD and related tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include converting design concepts into precise technical drawings, producing shop drawings for execution, updating drawings based on feedback, and coordinating with designers, project managers, and site teams. The role also involves ensuring drawings meet design standards, local regulations, and measurement accuracy, maintaining organized drawing sets, and supporting documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Strong ability in Technical Drawing and Drawing, with attention to accuracy and detail.
Proficiency in producing Shop Drawings for interior fit-outs, furniture, and joinery.
Experience in creating Architectural Drawings and layouts for commercial and residential interiors.
Understanding of Architecture principles relevant to space planning and interior design.
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD; knowledge of other design tools (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, or 3D visualization) is an advantage.
Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Ability to read and interpret design briefs, material specifications, and site measurements.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with designers, contractors, and site teams.
Organized work approach, ability to manage multiple drawing sets, and meet project timelines.
Prior experience in interior design or fit-out projects in a studio or firm setting is beneficial.
