The Observability & AIOps Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing end‑to‑end observability and AIOps platforms across complex enterprise environments. This role focuses on enabling proactive operations, SRE‑driven reliability, and data‑driven decision‑making by unifying telemetry (metrics, logs, traces, events), applying advanced analytics and AI/ML techniques, and integrating observability insights into ITSM, DevOps, SecOps, and business workflows.
Define enterprise observability and AIOps strategy aligned with business outcomes, SRE principles, and digital transformation initiatives.
Design scalable, resilient reference architectures for observability across:
Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Kubernetes & container platforms
Microservices and legacy applications
Hybrid IT and OT environments (where applicable)
Architect unified observability & AIOps solutions covering:
Infrastructure, network, storage, and cloud services
Applications (APM), microservices, and distributed tracing
User experience (RUM, synthetic monitoring)
Logs, metrics, traces, events, and topology
Event correlation and noise reduction
Anomaly detection and forecasting
Root cause analysis (RCA)
Impact analysis and prioritization
Enable SRE practices
Integrate observability platforms with:
ITSM tools (ServiceNow, BMC, etc.)
Automation and orchestration tools (Ansible, StackStorm, Resolve.io, AI Agents)
Collaboration tools
Drive closed loop automation for incident response and self-healing systems.
Lead platform selection, evaluation, and integration (vendor‑neutral approach).
Strong expertise in enterprise observability concepts: metrics, logs, traces, events, topology.
Hands‑on experience with leading observability platforms such as:
Dynatrace, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, Elastic/OpenSearch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus SolarWinds, OpsRamp, ManageEngine etc
Solid understanding of AIOps platforms and techniques.
Strong knowledge of IT operations, incident management, and ITSM processes.
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, APIs).
Proven experience designing largescale, distributed, and hybrid architectures.
Ability to translate business and operational requirements into technical solutions.
Create architecture guidelines, best practices, and design patterns.
Mentor engineers and operations team, conduct workshops and enablement sessions.
Support PoCs, PoVs, and enterprise rollouts.
Strong documentation and diagramming skills (architecture, data flow, operating models
Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
Ability to influence architectural decisions across teams.
Consulting mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
