About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Company: Dhiya Couture
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan (On-site / Hybrid)
Department: Client Experience & Styling
Reports To: Store Manager / Creative Director
About Dhiya Couture
Dhiya Couture is a luxury couture house rooted in Rajputi heritage, refined craftsmanship, and timeless femininity. We create heirloom garments that embody royalty, depth, and quiet power. Our purpose is to preserve and revive the legacy of Rajputi attire by reimagining traditional garments as couture. Every creation honours centuries of craftsmanship, artistry, and cultural heritage, ensuring these traditions continue to be celebrated and passed on for generations.
The Role
We are seeking a technically proficient and highly intuitive Fashion Stylist & Couture Consultant. This role is designed for a qualified Fashion Designer who has transitioned into luxury styling and client consulting.
You will combine technical garment expertise—such as drapes, patterns, luxury fabrics, and silhouette engineering—with personal styling to guide bespoke bridal and high-end couture clients. Beyond styling, you will play a key role in driving high-value sales by actively acquiring new luxury clients, managing personalized client consultations, and cultivating long-term retention.
Key Responsibilities1. Technical Styling & Bespoke Customization
Body Type & Silhouette Analysis: Apply technical design knowledge to evaluate client proportions, skin undertones, and personal aesthetic, recommending custom silhouettes, drapes, and necklines that best flatter them.
Garment Customization: Bridge design and styling by suggesting bespoke modifications (e.g., sleeve variations, neckline tweaks, embroidery placement, colour palette adjustments) while maintaining the design integrity of Dhiya Couture.
Draping & Fitting Management: Oversee technical draping during bridal trials and fittings; collaborate directly with master tailors and karigars to ensure exact technical accuracy, garment weight distribution, and a flawless fit.
Client Acquisition, Handling & Relationship Management
Client Acquisition: Proactively generate leads and attract UHNWIs, high-profile brides, and royal families through targeted clienteling, network outreach, private trunk shows, and word-of-mouth referrals.
Consultation Experience: Lead end-to-end luxury consultations, telling compelling visual stories around Rajputi heritage, Zardozi/Gota Patti techniques, and heirloom craftsmanship.
Client Retention & Lifetime Value: Maintain a high-touch client database, tracking personal preferences, key life events, and family bridal calendar dates to secure repeat business and referrals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Design & Production Liaison: Translate client feedback into precise technical feedback for the core design and production teams to ensure customized pieces are delivered accurately.
Visual Merchandising & Campaign Assistance: Collaborate with the creative team to style seasonal lookbooks, campaign shoots, and in-store displays, ensuring every look reflects the brand's philosophy of "quiet power".
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design from a premier fashion institute (NIFT, Pearl Academy, or equivalent) is required.
Background: 3+ years of professional experience, starting with a core background/role as a Fashion Designer and transitioning into Personal Styling, Bridal Styling, or Couture Clienteling in the Indian luxury space.
Technical Mastery: In-depth technical understanding of garment construction, pattern-making, luxury Indian textiles, embroidery techniques (Zardozi, Gota Patti, Aari), and advanced draping methods.
Commercial Acumen: Proven track record in client acquisition, high-ticket sales conversion, and luxury client retention strategies.
Communication & Demeanor: Flawless communication, empathetic listening, and high emotional intelligence to handle discerning bridal clients and families.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, quick on your feet during fitting sessions, and passionate about preserving Indian cultural heritage.
How To Apply
If you are a Fashion Designer turned Stylist who understands both the technical science of a garment and the art of luxury clienteling, we would love to connect.
