Job DescriptionTrainer – Software Testing with Playwright (JavaScript)
Project: PMIS – Capgemini Automation Testing Stream
Location: Pune – Work from Office / Classroom Delivery
Employment Type: Part Time (1000 to 1200 Per hour)
Duration: 7–8 months

About the Role
EduBridge is looking for an experienced Software Testing Trainer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and JavaScript to deliver a structured automation testing program for PMIS interns under a Capgemini–Barclays initiative.
The trainer will be responsible for end-to-end classroom delivery, hands-on labs, learner mentoring, assessments, project guidance, and preparation of learners for Capgemini technical interviews.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver classroom training on:
Manual Testing fundamentals
JavaScript for Test Automation
Playwright Automation Testing
Page Object Model, Fixtures and Framework Development
API Testing
Git and Version Control
CI/CD using GitHub Actions / Jenkins
Automation Capstone Projects
Conduct practical exercises, coding labs, quizzes and assessments.
Mentor learners through automation assignments, mini-projects and capstone projects.
Review learner code and provide structured technical feedback.
Guide learners in building and troubleshooting CI-integrated automation frameworks.
Track attendance, assessment performance and learner progress.
Identify low-performing learners and implement remediation plans.
Prepare learners for technical interviews and automation testing evaluations.
Maintain required batch documentation and reporting.
Participate in client/program review meetings as required.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on automation testing experience using JavaScript or TypeScript.
Strong practical knowledge of Playwright, including:
Locators and selectors
Assertions
Fixtures
Page Object Model
Authentication / storageState
Network mocking
Trace Viewer
Parallel execution
Strong JavaScript concepts including:
Async/await
Classes and inheritance
Destructuring
Modules
Experience with API Testing – REST APIs, CRUD operations and authentication.
Working knowledge of Git, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Familiarity with reporting tools such as Allure or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of training, teaching or technical mentoring experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to train fresh graduates / beginners through structured hands-on sessions.
Preferred Skills
Selenium automation experience with practical exposure to Playwright.
ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
BFSI / Financial Services testing experience.
TypeScript knowledge.
Docker fundamentals.
Exposure to accessibility or mobile testing.
Experience delivering structured, LMS-based technical training programs.
