Role Description The Company Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for managing the financial operations of Forever By Gayathri. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing regular financial reports. The role involves managing invoices, tracking project-related expenses, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations. The Company Accountant will collaborate with management to provide financial insights, assist with vendor payments and client billing, and support periodic audits. This role requires close coordination with the operations and studio teams to align financial processes with ongoing projects and business goals.
Qualifications
Strong skills in bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial record keeping.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes, invoicing, and expense tracking.
Understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and basic financial regulations relevant to small and medium businesses.
Ability to prepare financial statements, management reports, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with creative and operations teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience as an accountant or finance executive, preferably in a services or creative industry, is beneficial.
