Human Resources Executive

Role Description This full-time Human Resources Executive role is an on-site position based in Kolkata. The role involves managing day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, coordinating onboarding and exit processes, and supporting payroll and attendance activities. The Human Resources Executive will implement and communicate HR policies, handle employee relations issues, and support performance management and disciplinary procedures in alignment with company standards. The role also includes assisting in recruitment and selection, organizing training and development initiatives, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal guidelines. Regular collaboration with department heads and management is expected to address workforce needs, improve HR processes, and support a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong HR Management and Human Resources (HR) skills, including experience in handling core HR functions.
Candidates should possess HR Operations skills, such as managing HR documentation, onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR systems.
Candidates should possess Employee Relations skills, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and employee engagement.
Candidates should possess skills related to HR Policies, including drafting, implementing, and communicating policies in line with legal and organizational requirements.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliances, particularly applicable to pharmaceutical and biosciences organizations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR software or ERP systems, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Prior experience in HR roles within manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or biosciences industries is an advantage.
