Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and refining mechanical and product designs, preparing and updating technical drawings, and creating 3D models using CAD tools. Daily activities include collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and manufacturing requirements, and supporting design reviews and documentation. The role also involves analyzing design feasibility, resolving technical issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within project teams.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for developing and optimizing components and systems.
Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering expertise for structural analysis, materials selection, and manufacturing considerations.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
Candidates should possess foundational Electrical Engineering knowledge to collaborate on multidisciplinary design projects.
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to interpret technical specifications and standards.
Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to work with global and local engineering teams and customers.
Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or related field); advanced degrees or certifications in CAD or product development are an advantage.
Experience in automotive or other industrial sectors, familiarity with industry regulations, and exposure to project-based engineering environments are beneficial.
