Role Description This is a full-time Architect role based in Salem, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Architect will develop architectural designs and detailed drawings for residential, commercial, and healthcare projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, building codes, and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients, preparing design concepts, coordinating with structural and MEP consultants, and collaborating with the construction team for smooth execution on site. The role involves overseeing project documentation, supporting project scheduling and resource planning, and reviewing design changes to maintain quality and cost efficiency. The Architect will also visit project sites regularly to monitor progress, address design-related issues, and ensure that final outcomes reflect the intended design vision.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and preparation of detailed drawings.
Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including coordination with stakeholders, timeline management, and documentation of project milestones.
Candidates should possess basic understanding of Software Development and Integration as they relate to design tools, project management systems.
Bachelor’s degree (B.Arch or equivalent) in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
Proficiency in CAD and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and interact with clients and site personnel.
Demonstrated ability to balance design intent with practical construction considerations; prior experience in residential, commercial, or healthcare projects is beneficial.
