Role Description The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive care to patients presenting with acute, urgent, and life-threatening conditions in the emergency department. Day-to-day responsibilities include triaging patients, performing focused assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, initiating treatment plans, and coordinating referrals or admissions. The role involves stabilizing critically ill patients, working closely with nursing and allied health teams, and documenting care clearly and accurately. The physician will participate in on-call coverage, follow hospital protocols and quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of emergency services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bareilly.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Medicine with recognized medical degree and valid license/registration to practice.
Demonstrated experience in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Services, including management of trauma and acute medical conditions.
Competence in Urgent Care, including rapid assessment, stabilization, and disposition of patients.
Skills in Critical Care Medicine for the initial stabilization and ongoing management of critically ill patients.
Completion of residency or equivalent training in Emergency Medicine or related specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine with emergency focus).
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and make sound clinical decisions quickly.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to respectful, inclusive, and culturally sensitive patient care.
Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as part of a 24/7 emergency service.
Familiarity with electronic medical records and adherence to clinical documentation, safety, and infection control standards.
Ongoing interest in professional development, evidence-based practice, and participation in quality improvement activities.
