Project Role : Integration Engineer
Project Role Description : Provide consultative Business and System Integration services to help clients implement effective solutions. Understand and translate customer needs into business and technology solutions. Drive discussions and consult on transformation, the customer journey, functional/application designs and ensure technology and business solutions represent business requirements.
Must have skills : Apache Kafka
Good to have skills : Apache NiFi
Minimum 3 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required
Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education
Summary:
The IT Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions that ensure seamless, secure, and reliable data exchange across systems and partners. The role supports digital transformation by optimizing system connectivity, data quality, and operational efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, implement and deploy integration solutions.
Collaborate with customers, IT and stakeholders to define integration needs.
Analyze customer requirements and advise business units. Test, debug and troubleshoot integration solutions.
Set up and troubleshoot communication protocols.
Translate mapping instructions into working solutions.
Ensure compliance with standards and methodologies.
Bug fixing, maintenance and implementing change requests.
Provide technical consulting and troubleshooting.
Document specifications and development processes
Professional & Technical Skills:
Understanding of EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, JSON.
Basic knowledge of SFTP, HTTPS, AS2, REST, SOAP.
Linux understanding.
Experience with XSLT or data transformation.
Understanding of computer hardware, software,networking.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail in data mappings.
Good communication skills.
Excellent English skills.
Experience in logistics or supply chain (beneficial)
Additional Information:-
The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Apache Kafka.
This position is based at our Chennai office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
