Role Description The Mechanical AutoCAD Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This role involves creating and modifying detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and models using AutoCAD and related CAD software. Responsibilities include interpreting design requirements, preparing fabrication and assembly drawings, and updating drawings based on engineering feedback and quality standards. The designer will coordinate with engineers, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are accurate, manufacturable, and compliant with company and industry standards. Daily tasks also include maintaining drawing documentation, supporting design revisions, and contributing to process improvement for drafting and design workflows.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in architectural drawings, construction drawings, and general technical drawing.
Candidates should possess skills in space planning and layout design for mechanical and industrial environments.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills for collaborating with engineering, production, and management teams.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other mechanical CAD tools, with experience creating detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field.
Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications, standards, and fabrication requirements.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Prior experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing design is an advantage.
