Role Description The Full Stack Developer role at Acumen Global is a full-time, on-site position based in Thiruvananthapuram. In this role, the developer will design, build, and maintain web applications across both front-end and back-end layers, ensuring responsive interfaces and reliable server-side functionality. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing new features, optimizing existing code, integrating APIs and third-party services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, writing clean and well-documented code, performing code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices and system performance.
Qualifications
Strong front-end development skills, including experience with HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
Proficiency in back-end web development and software development using modern programming languages and frameworks.
Hands-on experience in full-stack development, covering design, implementation, testing, and deployment of web applications.
Knowledge of databases, RESTful APIs, and version control systems such as Git.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and secure code, with attention to performance and scalability.
Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and common software development best practices.
