Role Description
We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The role is suitable for experienced technology professionals with strong backgrounds in Software Architecture, Backend Development, Full-Stack Engineering, Distributed Systems, APIs, Databases, Cloud, Microservices, System Design, and Enterprise Software.
The Principal Software Engineer will play a key technical role in designing scalable systems, setting engineering standards, solving complex technical challenges, guiding software teams, and supporting major digital-transformation initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
Candidates with 5+ years of relevant software-engineering or software-development experience are encouraged to apply.
Candidates currently working as Principal Software Engineer, Staff Software Engineer, Lead Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Software Architect, Senior Software Developer, Backend Lead, Full Stack Lead, or Principal Developer are encouraged to apply.
Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, fintech, e-commerce, telecom, cloud, manufacturing, logistics, or other industries are welcome.
Strong programming expertise in one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, Go, or similar technologies.
Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, APIs, databases, and engineering principles.
Strong experience with backend or full-stack frameworks such as Spring Boot, Node.js, Django, Flask, FastAPI, .NET, React, Angular, or similar technologies.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, authentication, authorization, and system integration.
Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar databases.
Good understanding of database design, indexing, caching, transactions, data consistency, and performance optimization.
Experience with Git, GitHub, code reviews, branching strategies, automated testing, and collaborative software-development workflows.
Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, event-driven architecture, message queues, or asynchronous systems will be beneficial.
Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies will be highly beneficial.
Strong understanding of application security, scalability, fault tolerance, observability, logging, monitoring, and production support.
Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and make sound architectural decisions.
Experience mentoring engineers, conducting design reviews, or providing technical leadership across projects.
Experience with enterprise applications, system integration, or large-scale software platforms will be beneficial.
Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication, documentation, stakeholder-management, and technical-presentation skills.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both engineering and business stakeholders.
Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
Strong ownership mindset and ability to independently drive complex technical initiatives from architecture through implementation.
