Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Civil Engineer role based in Lucknow. The Junior Civil Engineer will assist in preparing civil engineering designs and drawings, including site layouts, drainage plans, and basic structural details. Daily responsibilities include supporting project planning activities, performing site inspections and measurements, coordinating with senior engineers and site supervisors, and helping ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. The role also involves assisting with stormwater management calculations, preparing reports and documentation, and contributing to project timelines and resource planning. The Junior Civil Engineer will work closely with the project team to support effective communication between the office and the construction site.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills, with the ability to contribute to basic design and drafting tasks.
Understanding of Planning principles for infrastructure projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management concepts and related hydrology or drainage design fundamentals.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Civil Engineers and other technical staff in a multidisciplinary project environment.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Familiarity with design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD or similar tools) and basic MS Office proficiency.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to work on-site, conduct field visits, and adapt to project-based work schedules.
Good written and verbal communication skills for reports, documentation, and coordination with stakeholders.
