This role involves working across motion graphics, graphic design, animation, video editing and AI-assisted creative production.
You will work across multiple clients, industries and projects, rather than being restricted to one brand or content format.
A portfolio/showreel is mandatory.

Digenie is a creative digital marketing agency producing content and campaigns for brands across lifestyle, F&B, alcohol & beverages, tourism, government, corporate and emerging startups.
We combine strategy, design, content, technology and creative execution to develop social media campaigns and digital experiences for our clients.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Motion Graphics Editor who can combine strong design, animation, video editing and visual storytelling skills.
The role involves creating everything from static social media creatives to animated Reels and campaign videos.
You will work on:
Social media posters and carousels
Motion posters
Animated Reels and Shorts
2D motion graphics
3D/product visuals
Video editing
Testimonials and BTS content
Meme and trend-based content
Product showcases
AI-assisted creative content
Campaign and branding creatives
The ideal candidate should be able to take a concept from brief → visual direction → design → animation/editing → final output.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Graphic Design & Static Creatives
Design posters, carousels, Stories, thumbnails and digital campaign creatives.
Create layouts for different brands and social media platforms.
Adapt existing brand identities and maintain visual consistency.
Work with typography, colour, composition and visual hierarchy.
Develop supporting graphic assets for animation and video projects.
2. Motion Graphics & Animation
Create 2D animated Reels, Shorts, motion posters and promotional content.
Animate typography, illustrations, logos and graphic elements.
Create kinetic typography, transitions and visual effects.
Convert static designs into engaging motion creatives.
Develop explainer-style animations and promotional videos.
Assist with 3D animation and product visualisation where required.
3. Video Editing
Edit Reels, Shorts, testimonials, BTS videos, product videos and promotional content.
Combine footage, graphics, animation, music and sound effects.
Add subtitles, transitions and basic visual effects.
Perform basic colour correction and visual enhancement.
Optimise content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms.
4. Storyboarding & Visual Planning
Develop storyboards and visual plans from scripts and creative briefs.
Plan scenes, transitions, camera movements and animation sequences.
Translate written concepts into clear visual narratives.
Create moodboards and visual references where required.
Work with writers and social media teams to ensure the visual execution supports the campaign objective.
5. Creative Ideation
Participate in campaign and content brainstorming.
Suggest visual treatments, editing styles, animation approaches and references.
Develop ideas for Reels, motion posters, memes and trend-based content.
Help convert creative concepts into practical visual executions.
6. AI-Assisted Creative Production
Use AI tools where appropriate to improve creative quality, experimentation and production efficiency.
Experience with tools such as:
Midjourney
Higgsfield
Runway
Pika
Stable Diffusion
Other AI image/video generation tools
AI may be used for concept development, image generation, backgrounds, characters, visual effects, video generation and creative experimentation.
7. Trend & Creative Research
Research current design, motion, editing and Reel trends.
Track meme formats, transitions and emerging social media aesthetics.
Collect relevant visual references and creative inspiration.
Experiment with new formats, tools and techniques.
8. Team Collaboration
Work closely with:
Content Writers
Social Media Managers
Animators
Photographers/Videographers
Account Managers
Creative Teams
You will be expected to understand briefs, discuss creative approaches, implement feedback and deliver final assets within deadlines.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
2–5 years of experience in motion graphics, graphic design, animation or video editing.
Strong proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Good understanding of typography, composition, colour and motion principles.
Strong understanding of social-media-first content.
Ability to create both static and motion creatives.
Good understanding of pacing, transitions and visual storytelling.
Ability to work across multiple brands and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
GOOD TO HAVE
Experience with Blender, Cinema 4D or other 3D software.
Experience with Midjourney, Higgsfield, Runway, Pika, Stable Diffusion or similar AI tools.
Understanding of branding and campaign design.
Basic sound design and music synchronisation.
Experience creating product animations or 3D product showcases.
Experience working in a digital marketing or creative agency.
