Social Media Executive
Organisations: Svayam & Jindal Saw | Experience: 2 -3 Years | Location: Delhi (On-site)
About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media Executive to lead day-to-day social strategy and execution for Svayam, an accessibility-focused organisation, and Jindal Saw, a large industrial manufacturing brand. Both organisations run an active calendar of on-ground events, launches, and sector moments through the year, so this role is built for someone who thrives on real-time content, thinks on their feet, and can turn a live event into a strong social narrative not just someone who schedules posts from a calendar.
What You'll Do
• Own the end-to-end social media strategy and execution for Svayam and Jindal Saw across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, X, and others as relevant to each brand).
• Plan and manage always-on content calendars, while staying flexible enough to prioritise real-time, event-led content when it matters more than the plan.
• Be proactively present for events, conferences, launches, and sector moments connected to both accounts, covering them live where needed, and turning raw moments into publish-ready content quickly.
• Translate each brand's voice accurately: Svayam's human-centred, accessibility-first tone versus Jindal Saw's industrial, credibility-led tone without mixing the two up.
• Brief and coordinate with designers, videographers, and copywriters (in-house or external/agency) on content needs, and review output for brand and quality fit before it goes live.
• Track performance across both organisations (engagement, reach, growth, sentiment) and turn data into clear, actionable changes to strategy, not just monthly reports.
• Monitor conversations, mentions, and industry/sector news relevant to accessibility and industrial manufacturing, and flag real-time opportunities or risks.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and any external content/creative partners to keep timelines tight, especially around event windows.
• Manage community engagement, responding to comments/DMs in the right tone for each brand, and escalating anything sensitive.
What We're Looking For
• 2 years of hands-on experience managing social media for brands, preferably across more than one account or industry simultaneously.
• A proven track record of covering live events, launches, or on-ground activations for social, not just planned, pre-shot content.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to switch tone convincingly between two very different brand voices.
• Comfort working with data, reading platform analytics and using it to adjust strategy, not just presenting numbers.
• Genuine proactiveness: someone who spots an opportunity around an upcoming event or news moment and acts on it without being asked.
• Working knowledge of scheduling and listening tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or similar).
• Ability to manage two distinct organisations, competing timelines, and quick turnarounds at the same time.
• Bonus: interest or prior exposure to either the accessibility/social-impact space or industrial/B2B manufacturing.
What Success Looks Like
• Event and launch moments for Svayam and Jindal Saw are covered on social in near real-time, with content that feels alive rather than delayed.
• Both organisations show consistent, measurable growth in engagement and reach quarter on quarter.
• Leadership trusts the Social Media Manager to make sound, on-brand calls during fast-moving event windows with minimal hand-holding.
