Research Intern

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Research Intern role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. The Research Intern will support ongoing projects by collecting and organizing data from primary and secondary sources, conducting literature reviews, and assisting in the design of surveys or questionnaires. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing data under guidance, preparing research notes, drafting summaries, and contributing to reports and presentations. The intern will collaborate with team members, attend project meetings, and help ensure that research activities are documented accurately and completed within timelines. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in research, analysis, and communication within a professional setting.
Qualifications
Strong research aptitude, including the ability to conduct literature reviews, gather data from multiple sources, and synthesize information clearly.
Basic analytical and quantitative skills, such as working with spreadsheets or statistical tools, and interpreting charts or tables.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise notes, summaries, and basic reports.
Good organizational and time-management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured manner.
Comfort working on-site in a collaborative team environment and engaging with stakeholders in a professional manner.
Pursuing or holding a degree in social sciences, economics, public policy, data science, or a related field; prior internship or project experience in research is an advantage.
Proficiency with common office and productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software); familiarity with basic research or data tools is a plus.
