Assistant Sales Manager - Gearboxes

Key Responsibilities
Generate inquiries and drive sales for gearboxes and power transmission devices while building strong product and brand awareness across the assigned region
Develop and maintain direct relationships with OEM motor customers, executing aggressive follow‑up strategies to achieve brand switchovers and expand market share
Partner with the Marketing Manager to plan and execute advertising campaigns, select effective media channels, and represent the company at trade fairs and industrial exhibitions
Lead the design and distribution of product literature and coordinate mass marketing activities (offline and online)
Train and mentor representatives and service engineers, ensuring alignment with sales and service objectives
Collaborate with the Product Engineering Group to support new product development and customer‑specific customizations
Maintain and manage a structured inquiry database to track leads, customer interactions, and conversion metrics
Support Sales and Marketing with business cases, product inputs, and service‑related requirements
Contribute to organizational growth through training initiatives and continuous improvement activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Strong technical understanding of gearboxes, motors, and power transmission systems
Proven ability to interface with OEM customers and deliver business growth
Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
