About the Role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to join the BDC Engineering team. The role involves designing and automating AWS infrastructure, improving CI/CD pipelines, managing containerized workloads, and ensuring applications are reliable, scalable, secure, and highly available.
The candidate will work closely with engineering teams across India, Manila, the UK, and the US.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage highly available AWS infrastructure.
Work with AWS services including SSM, Parameter Store, Glue, IAM, Route53, CloudFormation, VPC, ECS, EKS, ASG, ELB, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
Manage artifact repositories and secrets using tools such as HashiCorp Vault, Nexus, or JFrog Artifactory.
Automate deployments across AWS and on-premises environments.
Monitor applications and infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and support incident resolution.
Implement resiliency, backup, and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
Collaborate with Development and QA teams across multiple time zones.
Mentor team members and contribute to DevOps best practices and continuous improvement.
Mandatory Skills
6+ years of hands-on AWS experience
AWS Glue
Docker
Strong CI/CD experience
Kubernetes / EKS
Terraform / Ansible
Jenkins / GitLab CI / TeamCity / Chef
Linux and Windows environments
Scripting/programming experience in Python, Java, Groovy, Shell, Bash, Ruby, or PowerShell
Good understanding of resiliency, backup, and DR
Preferred Skills
AWS certification
AWS Aurora / RDS / PostgreSQL
Datadog / Splunk / AWS CloudWatch / CA-APM
Microservices and API Gateway
.NET / IIS / SQL / JavaScript / JSON
Financial services or regulated industry experience
