Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Chennai. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing designs and technical drawings, supporting project planning, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and site teams to ensure construction activities follow design specifications and safety standards. Daily tasks include reviewing drawings, conducting site inspections, monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and assisting with material estimation and quality control. The role also involves maintaining documentation, supporting project scheduling, and collaborating with project managers to meet milestones and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess capabilities relevant to planning, design, and execution of projects.
Candidate must coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Candidates should posses Management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Proficiency in relevant design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar), and familiarity with local building codes and standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
Prior experience in construction or infrastructure projects in an on-site engineering capacity is an advantage.
