Role Description This full-time Interior Designer role is an on-site position based in Dehradun. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare detailed layouts, and create mood boards and presentations for a variety of residential and commercial projects. Daily responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and preparing construction drawings in collaboration with architects and engineers. The role involves meeting clients, understanding functional and aesthetic requirements, refining designs based on feedback, and ensuring that project execution aligns with approved plans and standards. The Interior Designer will also support site visits, quality checks, and coordination with contractors and vendors to maintain design integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills to create functional, aesthetic, and user-centered layouts.
Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to develop clear, accurate plans and coordinate effectively with project teams.
Candidates should possess FF&E selection and specification skills to choose appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with design concepts and budgets.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools is beneficial.
Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Strong visual communication, presentation, and client interaction skills are essential.
Ability to manage multiple projects, work collaboratively on-site, and adhere to timelines and quality standards.
Knowledge of materials, finishes, building codes, and sustainable design practices is an advantage.
