Role Description
The QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER - NDT role at JNK India Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in BINA - MP. The role involves overseeing and coordinating all non-destructive testing (NDT) activities for projects, ensuring compliance with company standards, client specifications, and relevant codes. The Quality Control Manager will plan and schedule NDT inspections, review procedures and test reports, and verify that welding, fabrication, and installation work meets quality requirements. The role includes guiding NDT technicians, collaborating with project and site teams, and addressing quality-related issues or nonconformities. The manager will also participate in audits, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement of quality processes and safety practices.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in NDT methods (such as RT, UT, MT, PT) and quality control practices for EPC or heavy engineering projects.
Experience in inspection of fabricated equipment and piping, including interpretation of drawings, material specifications, and welding procedures.
Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO) and familiarity with QA/QC documentation and reporting.
Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate inspection teams, communicate effectively with project stakeholders, and resolve quality issues on site.
Relevant NDT certifications (e.g., Level II or equivalent) and a technical degree or diploma in engineering or a related discipline.
Prior experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or similar process industries; experience with fired heaters or furnace packages is an advantage.
Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement in quality systems.
Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar on a part-time schedule and adapt to project timelines and priorities.
Required Experience – 10 – 15 years - as a minimum
Age Criteria: below 58 years
Salary range: 10- 20 LPA - depends upon interview performance
Mandatory Certification: SNT-TC-1A LEVEL - II in RT, PT, UT, MPT, VT.
