Job Title: Pharmacy Manager / Senior Pharmacy Manager
Industry: Multispecialty Hospital (Mandatory)
Experience: Minimum 10+ years
Reporting To: Head – Pharmacy
Location: Hyderabad
Job Purpose
To lead and manage end-to-end hospital pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimal inventory management, strong revenue performance, and high standards of patient care across OP, IP, OT, and specialty pharmacies.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Pharmacy Operations
Manage complete pharmacy operations including OP, IP, OT, ICU, Cath Lab, and specialty pharmacies.
Ensure smooth coordination with clinicians, nursing, purchase, and finance teams.
Drive operational excellence, SOP adherence, and patient safety.
2. Inventory & Stock Management (₹5 Cr+)
Oversee inventory worth ₹5 Cr or more, including high-value and critical drugs.
Ensure optimum stock levels, zero stock-outs, expiry control, and near-zero pilferage.
Handle consignment drugs, high-cost implants, and critical care medicines.
3. Revenue & Sales Management (₹3 Cr+)
Drive monthly pharmacy sales of ₹3 Cr+ through optimized prescription capture, availability, and patient retention.
Implement strategies to improve basket size, generic substitution, and chronic medication adherence.
4. Compliance, Quality & Audits
Ensure compliance with Drug Control regulations, NABH standards, and statutory requirements.
Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely license renewals.
5. Systems & Digital Enablement
Strong working knowledge of HIS / Pharmacy Management Systems.
Ensure accurate item master, pricing, batch control, and integration with billing systems.
6. Team Leadership & Development
Lead, train, and mentor pharmacists and pharmacy staff across shifts.
Drive performance management, manpower planning, and succession readiness.

Deep understanding of hospital pharmacy workflows
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
Process-driven with high attention to detail
Patient-centric mindset with business orientation
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum 10+ years of experience in a multispeciality hospital pharmacy
Proven experience handling inventory of ₹5 Cr+ and monthly sales of ₹3 Cr+
Hands-on exposure to end-to-end hospital pharmacy operations
