Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Collections Specialist role based in Agra. The Collections Specialist will be responsible for contacting customers to follow up on outstanding payments, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring timely cash collection in line with company policies. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate records of interactions, updating account statuses, and coordinating with internal finance and customer service teams to resolve billing or payment issues. The role also involves addressing customer inquiries professionally, identifying risks of non-payment, and escalating complex cases when necessary. The Collections Specialist will work towards monthly and quarterly collection targets while adhering to regulatory and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Debt Collection and Cash Collection, with the ability to manage overdue accounts and negotiate payment solutions.
Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to handle calls, explain account details clearly, and maintain professional interactions.
Basic understanding of Finance to interpret invoices, payment terms, and account statements.
Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and proficiency with spreadsheets or collection software.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment, prioritize tasks, and follow structured processes.
Prior experience in collections, banking, or financial services is preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma; a degree in commerce, business, or a related field is an advantage.
